Man Who Fled Meth Charges Kept In Prison.

Bondsman Finds Bail Jumper In Belize.

Dustin Chandler has pleaded guilty to manufacturing methamphetamine and drew a 24-year prison sentence.

Chandler had asked Benton County,Arkansas Circuit Judge David Clinger to allow him to remain free until space opened in the state prison system. But considering Chandler had earlier fled to the Central American nation of Belize in an attempt to avoid trial, Clinger ordered Chandler to remain locked up in the Benton County,Arkansas Jail.

Chandler entered his plea Monday. He was to have gone to trial on March 20 but left the country. Chandler was found by the company that posted his $30,000 bond.

Chandler faced charges from two separate arrests in October 2003 that included an allegation that the 34-year-old was manufacturing meth at his mother's house.
