Probation officer accused of selling meth.




TACOMA,Washington -- A state probation officer accused of selling methamphetamine pleaded not guilty to unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

Thirty-four-year-old Cheryl Lyn Cantrell was released on bail after her plea in court Tuesday in Tacoma,Washington.

She was arrested Friday at a Department of Corrections office in Puyallup,Washington. The department says she was in a probationary period when she was arrested and no long works for the state.
